Helping investors build wealth through education and smart strategies
Twenty years ago, I started my career in financial services with a simple mission: help everyday people achieve financial freedom through smart investing. After graduating with honors from UCLA with a degree in Finance, I earned my Certified Financial Planner designation and spent the next two decades working with thousands of clients from diverse backgrounds.
I've seen market crashes and bull markets, economic recessions and periods of unprecedented growth. Through it all, I've learned that successful investing isn't about predicting the future or finding the next hot stock—it's about having a solid plan, staying disciplined, and understanding that building wealth is a marathon, not a sprint.
Arroyo Investing was born from my passion for financial education. I believe that everyone deserves access to quality investment information, regardless of how much money they have or where they live. Through this blog, I share the same strategies and principles I use with my private clients.
I believe in evidence-based investing. Rather than chasing trends or trying to time the market, I focus on strategies that have been proven to work over long periods: diversification, low-cost index funds, compound growth, and disciplined rebalancing.
My approach is educational first. I want you to understand why you're making investment decisions, not just what to buy and sell. When you truly understand investing principles, you're better equipped to make smart decisions—especially during market volatility when emotions can cloud judgment.
